Meet Our Team

Teri Dow, Principal

My name is Teri Dow, and I am in my 28th year in the field of education, with 14 years of experience as an elementary principal. I grew up in Topeka, Kansas, and obtained both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Kansas State University. Over the course of my career, I have taught students across a wide range of grades, from Kindergarten to middle school and adult education.

I have one son, who is currently a freshman at Kansas State University—Go Cats!

Outside of my professional responsibilities, I am passionate about outdoor activities, including running, hiking, golfing, and playing pickleball, as they allow me to maintain an active lifestyle. I am truly honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with such an exceptional team at Pray-Woodman.

Welcome to Pray-Woodman Elementary! We are excited for a new school year filled with promise, growth, and achievement. We believe in the power of collaboration among students, parents, teachers, staff, and community to create a nurturing and successful learning environment. These are foundational years of student development and we are dedicated to establishing a welcoming culture that maximizes the successes of all students.
